THE LUNCH SACK DIET
Here are some guidelines I like to follow while shopping at the market:
-Whole Foods. Meaning that the ingrediants in your food can be picked from a garden if you had one.
-Eat Raw. Try to avoid food that is already cooked and full of preservatives (sugars and salt).
-Buy Local. This is hard to do during the winter months depending on location, but try to support local.
-Try Organic. Expensive, Yes. But there haven't been good reports about pesticides on your food.
